This is a nice little sight. I had one delivered today that I got for $75 used. Mine is going on top of a Volquartsen Mini Mamba, so the included picatinny mount is great!

I’ve been kicking around the idea of putting something like this on a ruger 44 carbine

You won’t regret it. I put one on a marlin 1894 .357 with a phoenix weaponry mount so it sits low to the receiver.

    Me too.
I have one on a 1942 model 94 and it it the best upgrade possible. Makes the gun crazy FAST and accurate. I just don't shoot the .44's as much as I used to. Coulter will love them when he gets older.

I too love a RDS on a rifle. My little Marlin 1894 in 44 Mag is a close range thumper. The plain old 240 grain Remington 44 JSP does work.

That Fast Fire is a damn nice optic. I've had nothing but a few Trijicons and Holosuns (and one Vortex & one Sig) until now, but the Burris is great for the money!

My only complaint is no "shake-awake" but for the price, it's not a deal breaker.
