The technique is drag it back to the landing behind the boat and the put the boat on the trailer and pull the boat and gator back to the shop and clean it there. I am hunting from a flats boat and I really didn't want that nasty fucker in my boat.

Never had the opportunity to go. This will be third year I have put in for the drawing and from what I have heard my chances are pretty good this year.

The key to hunting gators is your boat has to be yellow.

Just curious here but did you do a cloacal exam to determine the sex or speculating?
I ask because if I recall correctly few females exceed 9 feet in the SC coastal plain.

Kind of what I was wondering, just how this "weird" fella came up with that. I dont know about normal sizes, but there is basically only one way to tell...

Insert hand into the other business end...

Dunno know about y'all, but I had a dead gator "relax" those muscles in my boat on the way home.

That white chalky shit smelled for a year, and I still have white chalky stains on my windshield, and lowrance head unit.

I am keeping my hands out of that end of a gator.

When I killed my first gator, my buddies made me reach in and yank it out and it shot out. Most disgusting smell I have ever had on my hands.

Hart, I gotta say...those are some good friends. They wouldn't prank you like that if they didn't like you...unless they really just didn't like you.
