That is the most seed tick infested land i have ever set foot on! Took a quick loop once around 2003, haven't set foot on it again. Make my skin crawl when I pass it. Hope the alleged masterbaiter and DNR officers are still itching.... That'll teach'em

I read the article and what JAB posted. I understand the what the law say, could this be exactly what they are doing?

I did not read anything about the bait was cleaned up or not. Is this information some where else or are people simply jumping to conclusion?

hell of an assumption. pointing out the fact that those w family land (usually inherited) have no sympathy or perspective of those that don't and hunt public land. So it matters to them when things like this happen or when they add more restrictions. not green w envy but saying the bourgeoisie should have a little more grace towards the proletariat. he offered no better solution but just scoffed at the responses of those actually affected. maybe private land access would've been a better choice of words than family land. I might not have seemed so green and butt hurt.

Yeah this still sounds envious. Also “hell of an assumption” that private land owners don’t care about what happens in public land.

I own no land and I even scoffed.

Have that happen where duck lovers poured corn out in formt of my blind. just saw some of the corn on the bank so I waited until the corn was gone and had a good shoot. Didn't call the GW but did have a confrontation with the guy that poured the bait out. He did not think it was a good idea to do it again after i explained the reprecussions of doing so.

The usage of the pronouns “those” and “them” implies plurality. So while clearly you were not solely referencing Calibogue, it is implied that you were referencing multiple landowners. As such I used the plural form of land owner in my response, of which the word “all” does not appear.

    Hope this helps.

so the understanding that plural can mean "some" or "more than one" not necessarily "most" or "all" was confusing to you leading you to feel the need to defend the plurality of land owners I clearly was not referring to. got it. there are "some" private landowners even on this hallowed website that have a callous and condescending stance to those who don't happen to have that access. That's how I read the post I responded to. Maybe that's not how he meant it. and I'm still curious how that makes me sound envious. maybe it was just an assumption on your part. but hey "some" people not "all" love to join an internet bandwagon.

You made mention of the hit dog(s) hollering on another thread some time ago. I guess your statement continues to hold true, lol.
