She's going to splash again soon. Let my wife talk me into putting the 140 I bought for the old girl on the Sea Pro I picked up off of Collins. I never got rid of the old Optimax, so it's back on her. If I dont get too buried in turkey season, she will have bloody decks again soon.

    Question:

T-top guys, more pros than cons or no? Particularly when factoring in storage?

I wouldn’t have one on anything less than 24-25ft. They take up a lot of room. Don’t offer that much shade, and cause the boat to sail in the wind. They also can be a problem with bridge clearance. It also depends on your fishing style. If you are primarily a dead stick with live bait or nearshore troller then I would say get one. If you like to throw artificials and move down banks or fly fish then I would say no top. Personally if I was going to have a t-top I would go ahead and get a half tower with second station.

For inshore fishing it gets in the way.

Agreed. Pain when you’re fishing but nice in the summer if you’re just cruising.

First boat was a 14’ War Eagle with a 25 Evinrude.
Current boat is a Pathfinder 2200 and yes I like the T-top.

My thoughts as well. If it were a "family" fishing boat I guess I get it; if it's a dedicated fishing rig not so much.

Disappointed that you don't have a picture. I need verification that it is called "Dental Dam."

Sweet rig; did you have to pay extra for the Cooper River racing stripe package?
