Any advise on a charter captain. Going next March for a wedding and kick around for a couple days before coming back. Looking like good fishing in that area.

I went on the Unbelievable out of Stuart, FL. Capt. VJ Bell and Elijah are first class. It's a 61' Richie Howell with a SeaKeeper and Omni. They let us actually hook fish instead of just handing us a rod after the fish was hooked. We caught a few whites and had an opportunity at a blue in the spread but didn't capitalize. If he's in that area in March, I recommend booking with him.

Thanks i will check him out. A lot in the area with motel pick up and all that. resort also can book for you but i would rather book my own. This is Dominican Republic but he may be a long shot.

I’ve fished with VJ in Isla many moons ago when he ran the Boneshaker. Ifs there that time of year, I’d fish him again over some local I didn’t know.

You are right of coarse but I think i would just about as soon got to DR as Atlanta, Memphis, detroit, LA, or Chicago.
