The bootless is the way to go. You can cut off one side and just spray edges, you can let it roll and spray 40' swaths and you can use the included wand to spray gum saplings with 5 oz per gal for a complete nuke. It is one of my most used piece of equipment.

My boomless attachment attaches to my ball mount on the hitch. Run the Polaris at 4-5 mph and it does work.

Pro tip; get the higher output unit with the bigger pump.

Don’t know if this helps or not, but Badboy makes a plate that a sprayer will bolt into and slides in a 2” receiver hitch. I got it mainly for my zero turn and spray the yard, but I can also hook it to my golf cart or truck to spray on the farm.

I do not spray with the boom on front of the mower. Have a boom that stays on the back of the mower but tank is removable. Works nice with wand being right in front and easily check level and pressure. Plus zero turns so much easier for spraying around the house and preventing over spray 11’ spray.

Basically done what this dude did.

Have alligator clips for the golf cart, but installed a switch and quick connect on mower. For the golf cart, can adjust height of the boom with the brackets

what brand boomless nozzles are you using? I've got a fimco set up for the sxs that does pretty good (+/-30'), but have struggled to find a boomless nozzle that works well on one of my 3pt/pto set ups.

I hadn’t yet, but with my luck it’ll probably happen soon.

I put this one in the scoop (the deer thing that goes in the trailer hitch of my Explorer) and rigged up a 2x4" to mount the boom on...

the only thing I do not like about that set up is its close proximity to the ground.

I think it can go up prob another foot. We only have a few acres at most to throw seed and fertilizer so it works good for us.
