Last night's squad looked like teams of old. Poor passing. Poor execution. Poor decision making. Poor defense.

World Cup... I tried. I really did, but i just can't. I'd rather watch the Braves suck.

Not yet. Think of the current "Group Stage" as the regular season in football. Some teams have already been eliminated, some have already gotten a place in the playoffs, while some teams need to win this last game in order to make the playoffs. The upcoming "Knock-out" stage is single elimination where ties are not allowed. They'll play the 90 minutes with stoppage time then an additional 30 minutes. If it's still tied, they'll go to penalty kicks.

Like I care. I don't watch college football anymore. I went out with Peyton and Virginius the other night and they are still going up to Clemson for games. Not like one or 2. All of them. Crazy. I avoid I26 like it is the plague...

I watched Germany get beat by Paraguay last night. The last 20 minutes were very entertaining and P-Guay got it done to win but dang there were more flops and guys rolling around like the bone was coming out of the skin than I'd ever seen. Then they'd hop right up and move on.

Yeah, the flopping is still silly. But, the boy getting his head stapled at the top of the penalty box seemed real.

The flopping is absolutely out of control. Both evening games were awesome. One would think that professional athletes could hit the goal from 12 yards out, but it appears not. I think all their stutter stepping, pausing, and dancing around screws them up. Just take your 3-4 steps and rip it to the corner like we did in the old days (we, as in those of us too afraid to play a real sport).
