Funny to complain about scoring in soccer yet football they count by 3 and 7 and if you can’t score they let you use a soccer player to kick to gets points. Kind of like a consolation prize.

Good result for the US side yesterday. Ensures they will be moving on to the knockout stage. The Australian side was really on their front foot during stoppage time, but the US defense was too stingy.

just helping Pbiz and the other googans understand what's happening now. This is to help explain why you can tie during the Group Stage.

starting today, you will see games from the same group being played concurrently. (that means at the same time). This is so that no team knows how the other match ended. Capiche?

If you dont understand this (or why there is no exact time on the clock) try to find a usc game during spurriers tenure or an NBA rerun of the Knicks finals to watch instead.

Go USA (thursday night at 10pm)

I'm trying to talk my wife into going to a Mexican joint tonight - you know one of the ones that has a dozen TVs all showing soccer games - and watching Brazil v. Scotland...

Yeah, I might have to take an extra long nap tomorrow to get ready for that one.

If the match is 0 to 0 at the half, I'm watching something else.

In that match last night those idiot fans were screaming and cheering on long kicks in the 3rd quarter(0-0).

    They should have been booing.

I tried to go to Public House Saturday. My daughter wanted wings and raw fries. All the soccer fans were up there hollering and drinking spensive bitter beers. We went to Henrys

Haha - smart choice. BTW what on Earth are "raw fries"?

I agree - I thought that was a very frustrating game. I have a friend that's a huge soccer fan. He travels the world to attend "matches" - he thought it was exciting...I don't get it. In case anyone from Bonneau asks, he's straight with kids and has a cute wife...haha

'Ate there many times. Had the limp, home-made fries many time. I just missed that they were called "raw fried". I swear (I think) they use to call them home fries.
