Awful. Praying for the family.
Hurts my heart to hear this. Seemed like he was pretty squared away in life, gone to soon
Sincere prayers sent to his family and friends.
Hate to hear this
Always enjoyed his posts
Dang, he was what, 50? What got him?

I hate to hear this. Prayers for his family.
Damn. I'm sorry, prayers for his family. I've enjoyed our talks over the years
Broke down a couple times today, he loved his family and loved ball , called my daughter “frawg” cause he always laughed at the videos I sent him of my daughter catching frogs. Always greeted us with hugs for me and my daughter. This still hasn’t soaked in for me. This has been a tough day. His daughter is on the right mine is in the center

Sad to hear. Prayers sent for his loved ones!
He was always a good friend, much better a friend to me than I was to him, it was his MO with everyone. He was a devoted husband and father, community member and stand up human being. Peace be with his lovely family.

I always admired his posts as he seemed to push thru all the tough things without hesitation and shared enough of the good moments to show perspective. I drove past his old home many times before it burnt down, always admiring that big old house and the courage and patience it must have taken to be the man in charge of something like that. I was telling my wife last night about Tripp and how so many of us have watched one anothers lives grow and change thru posts and pics from this site for all these years.
Prayers for his all his family and friends but especially for Joy and his daughters.

Thats the perfect way to describe him. After someone passes, people always say the same ole things "He was a good man", "He always wanted to help people", "He loved his family", "He loved the lord", "He was a great husband, father, and friend"..............well.........ALL of those things were true about Tripp. He was as fine of a human being as they come.
Indeed. No matter how much crap he was going through, and he went through a lot the last few years, he always made time to make a call or send a text to make sure we were doing ok...
years ago, we'd text back and forth for a few years.. I donated things on occasion to his church fundraising deal. He'd go out of his way to try to spend money on my product, to the point it wouldn't help any of us out.. He would try though, simply because he thought it was the right thing to do. We were not close like others, just passing conversations, but I respected him. He'd try harder to do right more then most I've met over the years.
I read back through our text convo from over the years last night. To HS' point it it reminded me of the many challenges he dealt with in life and how far he'd go to help someone out or just be nice to a stranger. His parents'/grandparents' decline in health over the years and the house fire were the major ones I recall, but he never complained just put his head down, trusted God would see him through it and move forward.
I'll be keeping his family in my praying for a while. I know they're shocked and stricken with grief right now.
