    I'm not an offshore fisherman and not trying to stir the pot, but if there's a 919 pounder already dried out, then why kill a 597 pounder? Surely someone could not think that a 600 pound marlin just might be over 919. I realize that a 600 pounder is still a hell of a fish, but it doesn't look like a grander, right? School me.
