    How does one miss the channel? Operator or electronics error or both? I'm no offshore guy, just curious.

    He was coming out of Hatteras Inlet in the dark, using a "cut" the local guys run.
    Not a lot of room for error in there

    I know nothing about marlin fishing, but I saw it before they hoisted it out of the boat and thought that it was definitely bigger than the other 2. Didn't think it would beat both of them combined...
