Got to brag
So the oldest has been doing Run Hard. It’s an 8 week after school running program that practices 2x a week where they train for and run a 5k. Well today was race day and he finished in 25:32. I was his buddy runner the first two races he competed in, but he’s gotten to where i can’t keep up with him. The young man that was first overall completed the 5k in 18:46 and is only in the 5th grade.
The first race we ran together two years ago he finished in 45 minutes and some change, now that’s he’s cut ~20 minutes off his time i can’t wait to see what he does in the next few years.
