$100 Rimfire Suppressors Are FINALLY Here!

So, MSRP is $190. A sale dropped a few weeks back and these were as low as $99.97 on one site. Most sites had them $120-150. I passed, as I already have one overpriced POS rimfire can. Well, folks got their cans, and results were mostly positive. Another sale dropped, and I got mine for $119.xx plus about $10 for shipping. Pair that with a $50 transfer fee, and a rimfire can, all-in, is FINALLY under $200.

I just took it outta the box and fiddled with it & took it apart. Machining is good, finish is good; it's nice that a wrench is included, as many $1k+ cans don't come with wrenches anymore. I'm looking forward to getting home and see how it stacks up against my other 7 .22 suppressors.

That's a loaded question!

When you say transport, you mean, like, in the woods in a holster with suppressor attached? I'm not sure how suppressed pistol transportation could be difficult. There are always transport solutions.

The biggest questions I have are price and purpose. I've got experience with a wide array of .22 handguns, so I can probably provide some decent input with those questions answered.

Since the thread began with cost-effective suppressors, I thought it might be obvious, but I was thinking along the lines of should it be a Glock 44, Ruger Mark IV short bull barrel, or perhaps something altogether different but similar in cost. I would like to leave it assembled and readily available in the rear storage of my vehicle. Thanks MG

Ahh, nah, I wouldn't have picked up on that. I've got cheap cans on some expensive guns, but I get ya!

So, I've never shot the Glock, but getting a threaded one isn't exactly cheap. I like the Ruger, but the capacity is pretty low for a "truck gun." If you want very small -- the Beretta Bobcat is hard to beat.

However, if you're considering a Glock, then I'd get a Taurus TX22 (22 round capacity). The Taurus is also about 1/2 the price of the Glock once you find a threaded barrel. The Taurus is the best thing to ever come out of Brazil (I freakin' hate Taurus)! Mine has been awesome after a little chamber work and will shoot anything I put in it.

6 mags are on the bottom layer.

What dot sight do you have on the Taurus? I’ve been looking at O sights as the price point fits the gun but not sure of the durability.

Will do. It'll be a short comparison today between it, my piece of shit JK Armament Versax 105, and either the SiCo Warlock or my CGS Hydra AL. It just depends on what I can easily find 1st.

Shot it against the SiCo Warlock & the JK shitcan. Used a custom Volquartsen/Pac-Lite as the host. Ammo was CCI standard velocity.

First round pop (FRP) is definitely there with the Legionary. Second round quiets down a bit. Third round and then on was about what I expected - your average aluminum suppressor.

I put on the shitcan, and was baffled, yet again, of how a suppressor could actually make something louder.

Last came the Warlock. FRP is less than the Legionary. Second round sounds like the rest of the magazine. The Warlock wins on sound suppression. It's a tad quieter, and has a slightly deeper tone. However, with the price of the Legionary, I will be grabbing 2-4 more when they hit $99 again.

I'll try it on a bolt gun with subs over the weekend.

Overall, I'm damn impressed, especially for the price.

As long as your threads are RH 1/2x28, it'll fit on whatever you want (as long as it is .22LR).

These are not Magnum rated, nor full-auto approved.
