Metadata / Audio files - Need a nerd

I am in need of a nerd who knows about metadata, specifically how to pull metadata from an audio file. If there's anyone out there that you know of who is in this line of work or dabbles, please let me know.

I've pulled from images, but never audio.

EDIT: Download VLC Media Player and dig around into the plug-ins. It's probably the most powerful freeware media player on the market.

Just tried that, but I don't see any plug-in whatevers or data of any kind for this file or the ability to access any.
