    Default Show them

Dems, especially gays, are posting suicide helpline information post Trump victory. My initial reaction was to roll my eyes, but when I let myself feel it from their lens, I realized that the terror is deep and real for them, thanks to the thorough brainwashing from the media that affects the majority on both sides on way or another.

People who are lacking a strong community or safe nuclear family, especially those who have been victimized/traumatized, often look to the government for their sense of safety. That sense of safety just got shattered, in their eyes.

We won. No need to keep punching (in public). Show them their fears are unfounded.

Not going to show them shit. I will go about my business and they can go about theirs, but no more bending over for the outliers in society. It is what got us where we were in the first place. As for fear, well many of them SHOULD feel fear. Show your tranny dick to a child and you should fear being stuffed into a woodchipper...

Meanwhile, here is a 10:30 clip from "them"...

I think I’m fairlly well informed but I don’t get that. Where has T ever come out against gays? What do they think he will do with them? Is the brainwash and TDS THAT BIG? Men in women’s sports. Yes I’ve seen statements about that. But I do t get the other. Hell I k know gay people that voted for T. I don’t get it.

It easy to find something upsetting when you're looking constantly. How much of what you think is going on do you see day to day vs what you're seeing on tv/internet? Detach from the media teat. Hating people that you will likely never come in contact with doesn't affect them, it affects you, and those closest to you.

I'm with JABB. Feeling sorry for or trying to understand the idiotic feelings of the weak minded left are what got us to this point. These people have always existed in society but the internet gave them a voice and the normal people tolerated it to their breaking point. This election was hopefully the first step in the right direction. You can use what ever pronouns you want, identify as what ever you want, sleep with the adult of your choosing, dress however you want, call us what ever "ism" you can come up with, but the silent majority has spoken. We are tired of the extreme being crammed down our throats. We are tired of being forced to accept it.

The pendulum has swung and its heading back the other way. Leftist weirdos can either get out the way or get in the way..... But they aint gonna stop it from swingin.

    There's certainly truth to this.

I really don't want the country my kids grow up in and inherit to be Sodom and Gomorrah, that didn't turn out so well for the freaks of that time. Time to quit celebrating the circus and get things back in line.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

100%. Hence my comment that we (reason/common sense) have won. My point is that there are people affected who were not a part of the extremes you were shown on TV/Media (purposefully, btw, to elicit an emotional response); innocent bystanders, who are lumped in with those extremists, unfairly, just because they may choose to live differently that you.

Pendulum swinging, with ever increasing momentum, isn't ideal for anyone. It also swings back the other way, next time harder.

I've been saying this for months, but I'll say it again. It's past time to choose sides. I'm too damn old to be tolerant anymore. If you're not with me, you're against me. Being tolerant is what got us where we are now. Fuck that.

ETA: If you are stupid enough to have voted for that bitch, you're too stupid for me to waste time interacting with you on ANY level.

Then it is up to them to distance themselves from the extremists. I don't believe that most gay folks want to see drag shows for kids or men dressed up as chicks in military uniforms...

There are enemies and there are the people who we're convinced to blame and fight with to keep all of us from creating a united front against the real threat. Fortunately, I think Trump, and certainly RFK, know who the true enemies and manipulators are and will be working towards something productive vs chasing the smoke and mirrors that we chase.

I think I can feel some empathy towards those that are struggling with whatever they are struggling with. I'm not gonna belittle their issues nor am I gonna watch a clip that is supposed to sway me one way or the other. I aint falling for that any more. Everyone struggles with something. I'm not gonna sit here and tell them how to cope.

meanwhile, I agree that my hope is that a lot of these social issues (that, IMO, shouldn't be politicized) will be tempered in society. I agree that most of us fall in a more moderate place than those that need suicide help after Trump wins.

But that doesnt mean they dont need help. Let's not lose our compassion while we build a better society.

Exactly. So lets be the adults and let the children know that the fights not with them, let them feel safe, and they won't feel the need to align with groups and ideologies who don't really represent them, just to feel protected.

Right. Point out to them that it's the media who's been misleading them, not the right.

This just describes modern day natural selection. If they are too dumb to look beyond media and realize a president elect is not a reason to off yourself... then what good are they really to society? I get what you are saying, and I get what you are trying to do. If a young man sat across from me and expressed the need to off himself because trump was elected president, I would hope he would have a decent open minded conversation. If not.... well..... I might hand him the ammo. They have made it hard enough the last 4 years, last thing i am going to do is coddle them some more because they lack the ability to think for themselves.

And I am probably just a bit over all the BS that has gone on the last 4 years. When I have a grown 300 lb human who has a beard and a deeper voice than me calling to complain to my manager because I slipped and called him "sir", because he identifies as a woman, then the last thing I am going to do is pat them on the back some more and tell them it will be ok. It hasnt been ok for heterosexuals to do much in the last 4 years. Just pretty over "normalizing" the abnormal mental behavior that has been allowed to be normalized under this presidency.

Tell me how that works in the real world. Not just the virtue signaling space. We can't "tell" them anything, anymore than we could "tell" the black man that he has been being lied to since the 60's. We tried. The black man had to learn it on his own, and boy has he, if the last few years are any indication. Freedom to research and learn via the internet has been vital to that growth and must be protected from the censorship that every legacy media outlet is calling for right this minute.
