Good story too bad it involved way too much technology use. Go back to being an injun type hunter

If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
Missing you my great friend.
Similar situation for me Saturday evening,
I knew where and when I needed to be, the buck showed up just like I thought he would but I wasn’t ready. Rookie mistake and I know way better. I got my hands on the bow, got my release attached, pulled back and was trying to get him settled in the peep and pins when he saw something he didn’t like.
Had I been bow in hand I would have had a new best bow buck. Oh well, I’m leaving that spot alone until the 1st and am about to head out after another buck with the bow here in just a little while
[QUOTE=Glenn;3176224]I didn't say I hunted over the feeders. Just that they were there. So be gentle.
No judgement here!
Hope you get him!
Alabama… ugh.
Wait until the hymn is over to check cameras. He knows your heart! Good luck getting him
Awesome write up…
Given historical data, that bucks best interest is to find somewhere else to live.

Fine recap of a successful evening in the deer woods.
Is your whisker biscuit mounted in front of the shelf on your Hoyt, or is the angle funny?
So extra cover and went above and beyond with camo and still able to pick you out.
I never remember getting picked out now hunting and only camo I wore was a shirt and hat. Khaki pants no gloves or face mask. Often makes me wonder just how camo colors and patterns really stand out on deer eyes.
Nonetheless great hunt and story. Thanks for sharing. Good luck and hope you get him
