    good stuff all
i dont do pics but i do have a5s.
i still like my model12 for doves. havent been on a good dog drive in a while.
870s are decent utility guns but certainly not ranking up there w classics like the model 12 or auto A5s

Not an A5 but a deer killing beauty my papa dog hunted with. I still take it on our thanksgiving hunt every year.

Phoneman ought to be along soon. He has some pretty impressive ones himself.

I have my grandfathers Belgium 12. I really need to get it out more and shoot it. He bought it just to have, but was a Remington man. I have his full set of 1100's.

    Default Classic Browning A5's....

Unfortunately none in my family had any, but I’m looking to get my first soon. Would eventually love to have a 12, 16 and 20

I do have an old 1100 LT20 that grandpa bought for me when I was born, wife shot it 2 weeks ago. Got an old 16ga SxS (can’t remember the make) that was great grandfather’s on mom’s side, need to get it looked at by a gunsmith to make sure it’s ok to shoot want to start using it some

I love an old humpback A5 though I've never owned one. They remind me of freezing to death in the back of a truck being put out on stands for dog drives. I toted a Remington 878 Automaster back then.

And I disagree with the sentiment that 870's aren't "Classic" firearms. They belong in the conversation along with lever action Winchester and Marlin 30-30's.

I agree, theres something about a wingmaster.

    I agree about the 870.

Great thread, and like Glenn, there were none in my family and I’ve never owned one. I grew up shooting Remingtons because that’s what Grandaddy had. Keep the pics coming

well i'm just gonna be fucking wrong all day today, I guess.
the wingmaster is ok. otherwise an 870 is just an 870. the 1100 is even better.
granted, I have certain tastes in pump guns. i grew up shooting every bottom eject they made. dad was a lefty. the model12 has the best lines.

next thing you know i'm gonna have to suffer thru pics of people with their Novas. talk about ugly....
