How do yall like to get rid of it? I guess there are 100 ways to do it, but I'm guessing a pesticide is the way to go. TIA

At least I'm housebroken.
Pesticides are for bugs. Fungicide, well, duh.
You want an herbicide.
Poison ivy is a broadleaf. 2-4-D will kill it just fine.

My grandfather would pull it out and burn it. I guess after his grandfather would have him eat the leaves as a child, then decades of clearing it out by hand would build up that immunity.
I think Ive grown immune to it but I ain't gonna try burning yet.
I can look at the shit the wrong way and get it. I end up on steroids most times.
Being near a burn would probably put me in an early grave.

Same here. Every 2-3 years I get a bad case and end up getting shots and pills. Last time my doc said I must be someone who gets poison ivy “systemically” which means if I get it somewhere it could pop up anywhere. That actually made a lot of sense when he said it and explains a lot thru the years

I can roll in it with no clothes on and won't get it. My wife gets it from petting the dog after walks through it at the back of my property.

Folks swear that it can't be passed from an effected individual to another person. That's B.S.
Years ago when I was working at Lowes, our receiving guy was running an order picker (vertical lift truck) for a few hours while putting up appliances. He had some weeping lesions. I had to go pull some sort of appliance for a sale, and of course, used the same order picker.
After I loaded the item in a vehicle, I went to the restroom; I didn't think anything about his poison ivy. Big mistake! I won't even go into those details...
Dad keeps these in his cruising vest.

I can see it on tv and I’m itching. Best thing I’ve found to get rid of it on your body is frequent soaks in a salt water swimming pool. As far as killing the plant, 2-4D
I actually mix 2-4D with Roundup and a Surfactant.
