Looking for a recommendation of a quality pair that will last. If money wasn’t an option I’d buy a pair of Van Staal titanium pliers, but think $300+ for pliers is a little ridiculous. I’ve got a pair of Manley pliers in a leather sheath that I’ve had for years and are great for offshore but a little bulky for inshore fish. Would love a simple pair made of quality stainless or titanium that won’t have surface rust after one or two trips. I just hate when you buy a pair of “stainless” pliers and they are require constant maintenance to keep the rust at bay.
