I know it can be done, but with how much heat from the locals. Feel free to shoot me a PM. Thanks

If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
Missing you my great friend.
What heat could be expected if you didn't set up within 400yds of another hunter or blind?
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
That flight of mallards from the NWR to the State corn ponds is impressive to behold. 6 flat tires is too...
Well, my set up would be at least four hundred yards away. I have just always heard those folks get really pissy easily. I don't need any headaches over a fucking duck.

Then why make one of the most pressured and blind regulated lakes in the country your destination?

Mainly because I’ve always wanted to hunted there one time just for the experience. I doubt I ever will if I’m not going to hunt public I’m sure as shit not going to share a blind with eight rubber heads I don’t know.

I can give you contact info for a good outfit to go with. Get 3 others and you have a blind to yourself. And if you aren’t carrying 500+ decoys with you, good luck.
Plenty of other options to go hunt ducks, in the govt woods, within an hour or two of Reelfoot
I went once with a guide and it sucked. I’m sure there’s some good hunting there but it’s definitely not like Arkansas style hunting. Went a year later to Kentucky Lake, it sucked too. No thanks.
I'd swap my SC license plate for a Tennessee plate...
What bogster said, way to many other places with way less pressure to hunt.
Now then, take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field, and hunt game for me.- Genesis 27:3
I'd rather watch the weather for the next cold front and take a boat and big water decoy set up to the Tennessee River west of or around Chattanooga. Take a day to scout.
You might be pleasantly surprised with what flies into the blocks.
F**K Cancer
Just Damn.
Hunted there for two days with a guide operation that the family and I got invited by. 1000 decoys, a least a dozen spinning wings and another dozen jerk rigs. Only good thing that I can say about the trip was that the blind was bad ass! Full kitchen, satellite TV, etc! Didn't fire the gun! Definitely woulnd't go back as I've found way better hunting with way less pressure elsewhere! I'm sure with the perfect conditions and new birds the place probably shoots great but it sure didn't when we were there!
Back on the West Coast in Northern California. Got four more years here and then I'm out in 2028!!
Wasnt there a murder or two there last year over a duck blind?
Yeah, that would make it one of my destinations for sure.
