Fly by wire failure?

I see those boats running 80 mph and give them wide berth on the MS river, just in case.

Fly by wire failures are few and far between, been out for many years and
the use same style servo motors that are in fly by wire fighter jets and airliners for the last 15 years.
More dependable and less maintenance than throttle and shift cables.
