The “help” the beavers are providing is backing the water up and over/into areas that don’t need to be flooded. The culverts etc need to be kept clear to prevent damage to the roads.
I installed or am in the process of installing beaver guards on all of our culverts. Some of them are getting Agri Drain guards and others are getting hog panels tied together in a v shape in front of the opening so I can easily scoop out and debris with the backhoe. Its a constant battle with the damn things
