does anyone actually understand my point?
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
why don't you send me a video of yourself explaining it
You mean that no matter what's happening now: name changes, torn down statues, new laws etc., that nothing at the heart of the matter will change. There will always be, the rich, the poor, the black, the white, the big boat, the small boat, the educated, the not so educated, etc. And as long as there's differences between us, there will always be some sort perceived prejudice or injustice; although we all live in a country that if you put your mind to something and work hard you can make something of your self and have a good life regardless of skin color or background.
So this month I also commented about the COVID-19, The Parris Island boat crash, extremist protesters, and a Trump rally (no bashing). But believe or feel how you want to. Yet you have a problem with me if I have a differing opinion concerning race or Trump in posts that I didn’t even start. Find somewhere that called someone or a group of people racists. I do talk about objectivity versus subjectivity and have never had a problem with changing my view or admitting I was wrong. I’m just not gonna waste my time pissing in the wind with select people here.
Btw, you won't hear me apologize often, so you may want to put that in your sigfile. ~Mergie

Roddie and Black Bart bring a different perspective that otherwise wouldn't be heard here. Both respond in a manner and tone of respect and courtesy that I don't think I could. I believe that I would probably have said the hell with this place and noped out a long time ago if I were either of them. I respect the fact that they stick around and provide commentary from a different point of view. For many here, I suspect it's the only differing opinion they ever encounter.
Sitting in an echo chamber does no one any good.
Well said Jozie and WOB...

If a man is alone in the woods, says something, and a woman does not hear, is he still wrong?

Common sense is not a gift. It's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone else who doesn't have it.
just because some chick wears white sunglasses doesn't make it okay.. they don't sway my beliefs. I'm a rock, and also not a desperate virgin.
