I got this one and it works great. Even made ole Dickidoo scoot over and sat on the edge with him. Light, stable and sturdy.

The Drake stand is crap IMHO. That thing is way too heavy and shakes around on the tree, not stable at all.

I have that stand. Works pretty decent. My only gripe is that the base is covered in some slick nylon shit. I covered mine up with a scrap piece of hydroturf. Gives the dog a much better grip when jumping off the platform so they dont injure themselves.

The bottom of my Summit works good and has room for me and the dog, downside is it takes up room in the boat. Now I use this
Took the seat off and bolted on about a 18"x18" piece of 3/4 plywood with carpet on the top. Works great and probably have maybe $35-40 in it.

I found an old Lock on in the garbage at BG.

It is my new tree stand for the hound.

I've sat on the avery stand and it was sturdy. The chain is kind of cheap but work just fine with me or my 90lbs lab. I personally use the bottom of a tree climber with neoprene over the mesh. Bigger.
