If you got 3-4 more places that have birds then why come on here and complain about the farthest one away that doesn't have any ducks?

Jealous? I have my own slice of heaven, 25 minutes from the door, with gates and keys. Yet I still go after them any way I can to relieve pressure off of my spot.

I will still drive non stop 15 hours to kill a duck.

I will haul my boat to a lake 2-3 hours away and hunt in the am.

I have already this season loaded my shit and drove 3 hours to get up and hunt wood ducks with a buddy.

Lazy is not a virtue of a duck hunter.

Corn ain't illegal. Hunting over it or within 10 days of it being gone is another matter.

Do you want me to give you a standing ovation b/c you like to drive 200 miles to kill a wood duck? I'm not being a prick, but I'm not driving 1.5-2.0 hours just to kill some wood ducks when I've got plenty of places to hunt near the house. I've hunted every weekend this season and killed ducks except for this past weekend and haven't hunted the same place twice. All private places. I wouldn't mind driving 3 or 4 hours somewhere that's got some big ducks, but I'm not doing it just to hunt a beaver swamp with a few woodies.

    That's the damn truth.

I've got a big ass lake 5 min from my front door. But I'll drive 2 hours to kill wood ducks. Hell driving 5 hours next week to kill some. I just like to hunt I suppose and it doesn't hurt that I don't pay for my gas either

You ever get the urge to jump off a bridge? No one gives a shit about your sorry half ass attempts to make friends or kill ducks. I like this place alot better in the summer before all these jack legs show up.

put in more time to scout it. could have been a bad day, or someone else has been hunting it.

wow...you seem upset. If I happen to make a few friends on here, that's good but I promise you I didn't think to myself..."hey, I'm going to join SCDucks.com to see if I can find mcduck and make him my friend." Get over yourself bud.

Yeah, I'm hoping the weather or something may have played a part in it. I can see it from a pretty good ways away so I'm planning on riding over there one morning this week and check it out. With the bino's of course.
