Ain’t no joke....hunted this guy and his buddy for 5 days. Long story short every day something would happen or they would just do turkey stuff and slip away. Worst day was I had to use a boat to access where they were and one morning they we’re roosted over the boat and strutted around it 20 yards for 10-15 minutes while I watched, 100 yards down the road. Calls never worked, hens would take them the other way. Lucked up this morning and set up where they wanted to fly down. The sub dominant bird landed 15 feet from me(he had the better beard, I found out later) then the dominant bird flew down for his last time and landed about 30 yards.... very very frustrating 5 days but I would get up and start all over again tomorrow if I could. Something about using a boat to get to one has a different feel to it than the ones you just walk to from the truck.

17 ish lbs
1 1/4” and 1” (broke off) spur
8 1/4” beard very very thin
