Killed a greenhead this afternoon in Nc and went to breast him and seen this....took a picture and went to post it on the site and seen this thread....in my case it was def. The rice breast.

It's fine. They're not in the meat, it's a duck louse. They live on the outside of the duck and eat dead skin.

I've killed a lot of birds with rice breast, but I have never seen the "rice" crawl around or move at all for that matter.
