    I'll be honest with you...I don't remember what it sounded like. My heart was about to beat out of my chest. This is the first buck with any size that I've been close to in a few years. And the first ever while holding a bow.

    I've never shot one too low. I've shot way too many too high and spined quite a few. The deadliest bowhunter I know says he starts below the deer and slowly brings it up and releases as the sight crosses the bottom of the chest. The deer are almost always closer than what I practice and when they hear the twang, they drop as they draw up their legs to run so most shot go high. It's just hard for me to aim low.
