A girl we carried a few years ago killed a nice one on Marion. 12'2" and 700lbs. Her first one with us went 12'5".
I killed one in 2014. Haven’t even applied for a tag since. It was fun, but I realized I have no use for any of a gator ever again. I have the pictures and the story.

The big ones sensed they were part of the food chain again and made themselves extinct.
We got our butts handed to us this weekend. Saw lots of good ones, and even managed to get a hook in a really good one, but never landed him. Lots of people out hunting and the weather wasn’t the best. Can’t remember if I’ve ever been caught in 4 different rain storms in 2 days. Got a pretty cool pic of the big storm that rolled across the lakes Sunday evening. Took this pic from down on the Cooper.

It’s a bucket list kill for some. I got mine years back & have helped people get one. I have no desire to ever get another tag.
So much easier to put one through their eyeball and let them sink.

I enjoy seeing them
No season in NC and they have taken over the creek I trout fish in
Saw 13 in one small creek last Saturday

Yup, he's crazy...
like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.
Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.
