    Default Good Weekend

Got some "official" good news from work Friday.

    My azaleas are showing out.

It's turkey season, and turkeys are doing turkey stuff.

Finally got one of my deer scored and made the record book.

I celebrated by going with the first born, who swung and missed on the first set up of the morning. It was a great hunt if I heard one gobble, I heard 100. They responded and did what they were supposed to. They're all still healthy and I'll see them again.

Moved to another field where and saw a single strutter tending a very disinterested hen. Was able to get into position and had another great hunt. The boy wasnt able to get a shot, so I obliged and was able to dispatch him with an antler shed I found that morning at 2 yards.

Clean kill. G2 right through the eyeball. #cantstoptheflop.

Solid work, but be careful with the realtree hashtags. You're liable to get scolded around here.....

    :golfclap:
Man and other animals were first vegetarians; then Noah and his sons were given permission to eat meat: “every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you” Genesis 9:3

"A man may not care for golf and still be human, but the man who does not like to see, hunt, photograph or otherwise outwit birds or animals is hardly normal. He is supercivilized, and I for one do not know how to deal with him." Aldo Leopold
