    Default Persimmons

Anybody else got trees dropping really early this year?

There’s one in particular I like to hunt and I believe it will be played out before bow season if it keeps going like I saw today. I never seem to recall them hitting the ground this early in years past

Is that early or about normal compared to prior years?

I’ve seen lots turning orange already down my way.

Sounds about right for the one I have on my property. It’s usually about done by opening day of bow season.

I found a few orange ones last week, most were still green. Seems early for this part of the state.

Our persimmons are loaded and still green as of last Thursday. Been to busy to mess with anything, going to try and jump on it this weekend.

One tree was full of turning persimmons and another 100 yards away was full of small green ones last week.

I noticed a tree on the way to hunt property last weekend in Camden that was already drooping and dropping.

My persimmons are loaded this year, I need to go check to see if they are getting ripe.

I personally think its dependent on the conditions for that year. Heck I think it was last year and there were still orange ones hanging on the limb in late october/ Early November which was very odd to me.
