Why??? Someone explain

Someone please explain why someone would do this to a vehicle. Why are parents paying for this crap? I know these kids can’t afford these 1/2 lifts and 26” wheels! I know KRT makes a living off doing this crap for these kids and i don’t blame him on trying to make a living. We were sitting in the cookout drive thru getting the youngins some milkshakes and there were probably 20 of these trucks and suv’s there. I quickly explained to both my daughters that if some punk ever shows up at my house to pick them up in one of these trucks i will beat both that boys ass and my own daughters!

Legitimate question - I have never seen a truck with this crap done to it in NC other than a few around town with SC plates. Does having to pass a state inspection stop the NC kids from doing this?

If so I reverse my stance on hating having to have my vehicle inspected annually.

I don’t get it either. I mean it is blatantly not practical for anything other than a car show but it also looks soooo dumb. It does however make a strong argument for selective sterilization.

Come to find out the Tahoe is a friend from church’s kid. That Tahoe was another friends wife’s kid and grocery hauler up until a few months back. A 16 year old (with a normal truck cause my friend would beat his sons ass) was explaining to me last night about these idiot kids putting “suicide strips” on their front windows. The entire window is blacked out except a 4” horizontal strip. I don’t get it, I like to see when driving! As if looking up in the sky wasn’t dangerous enough.

Lexington county has decided they can ticket them for operating a unsafe mechanical condition vehicle. Apparently if you can’t see the road in front of you, it’s unsafe.



And if that won’t do it, they can slap em with the headlights at night time
