    Default Trapping license ?

I was looking up the regulations on trapping and it mentions a trappers license is needed. For resident $25 and non resident $200.

I have a pile of coyotes that come like clockwork down certain roads. So to trap them I would need the $200 permit? I am not selling or anything of that nature.

I also own the land. I don’t know if that makes a difference but I know it does for the annual permit I have to shoot varmints at night.

Yes to trap DEC 1 -March 1 you will need a trapping license to be legal. You can trap for free from March 1 -Nov 30 with a Depredation permit.

Why would you pay the government to get permission to remove coyotes from
    Your land ?

They changed it this year. You don't need the commercial license now. It appears that the seasons still apply.

House Bill 4986 was amended to allow trapping of certain furbearing animals on private lands for noncommercial purposes with only a hunting license. Seasons vary by species. See Seasons section.

I'm glad that changed that. Makes sense especially for people who where not selling them.

I wish it was legal to use an electronic call to call raccoons. Looks fun! They come in ready to f or f !
