I came up with an idea tonight that I thought I'd share for a jerk string. I've come up with a few ways to be able to move my swivels along the line, none of which have I been happy with. Instead of tying in the swivel base to the mainline, I figured I'd try a prusik knot.
I started by tying several of these loops of decoy line with a snap-swivel on it. Each loop is ~11" line. You can add/remove as many snap-swivel loops to the mainline as desired, and can easily slide them depending on water depth and distance desired from the anchor/bungee.
