Cops Fighting Mandatory Drug Tests — Claim It’s ‘Unconstitutional’ to Screen Police Urine

As with most jobs... Random at the agency I'm employed with. I've taken two in my short tenure and would take one weekly if requested. Not sure what the big deal is.

If you work for the government, or get aid from it in any capacity, you should be peeing in a cup at least once a year.

You should recommend they switch to the slavs test rather than urine. I passed a bill that includes salava as one of the approved methods.

I've always heard a good 5-10 min tooth brushing could pass you on a saliva test. Idk if it's true or not, never experimented. And how about every other month if you are receiving any kind of freebies from the govment.

If you receive any government assistance or are an employee of the taxpayers then yes a drug test once a month should be the minimum.

No, No, No. The right to impose conditions of employment, and fire employees if they fail to comply is a CONSERVATIVE principal. It is not an extension of government authority to impose employment conditions on government employees. Cops arrest people for violating drug laws. They confiscate those drugs and transport them back to the police station in their cop cars. Do you think its a god idea for cops that can't pass a drug test to be doing that?

It would be an extension of government authority if citizens were required to undergo drug tests. Even Welfare recipients.

I concur. The conservation switched from cops to anyone receiving aid. That is I made the statement you quoted.
