    Good luck to anyone venturing into the woods for opening day. Forecast says it'll feel like fall. Hopefully this guy will show his face.

    Go figure I went to hang a ladder stand Saturday to rifle hunt out of and messed up my shoulder something bad 2 days before bow season. I can barely unscrew the cap on the peanut butter, let alone draw a bow. Will see what the doctor says tomorrow, but I don't see any hunting in my near future. Makes me sick to know I'm not going to be in the woods tomorrow. Good luck to everyone heading out in the morning.

    My favorite day of the year, is finally here. I slept about as much as I used to as a kid on Christmas Eve. I hope I never lose this excitement. My wife doesn't understand and it's hard to explain, but she still supports me.... As long as I don't wake her up
