I'm like a duck: calm above the water, and paddling like hell underneath....

    Good job

I wish I could breathe life back in him, if I could I'd hunt him again tomorrow. - Ben Rodgers Lee

you got that right- I scouted all day saturday in the edisto and ashepoo and only saw 1. was going to hunt Sunday but called it off.
Trying to put my Dad on a decent gator- he's 74 and really starting to show his age, but he wanted to give it a shot this year.

The pup was a little unsure of the gator at first but he finally came around. He's only 7 months. We seen a lot of gators before hooking this one and it was 54° to start the day but the sun was beaming.

Finally got to cut the meat up last night because of the dilemma with my girl but I kept the meat on ice since Saturday so it was okay but I would rather the meat spoiled than leave her side until she was cleared.

Not all the meat in this pic but was a start to it. A bunch of bites, cut some steaks as well as some strips for doing a stir fry, and left about 10lbs with a friend to make into summer sausage.
