Curious how this dynamic will be for the brands.
I hate that!
I started going to Macks when it was a little one room place in Stuttgart back in 1980. I still buy a fair amount of shells and decoys from them. No more after today. I hate BPS and what they have done to Cabelas.

Well shit
Never confuse enthusiasm for capability
I’ve been blessed to be able to have Mack’s as one of my retail stores to carry my calls. The bigger stage has helped with exposure for my brand. I would be lying if I didn’t say I’m hoping it increases my volume. If not, I’m happy continuing to grow in my own ways. Stuttgart is getting a nice push lately with Chêne store opening as well. Looking forward to being back there at RNT at the end of the month.
Makes me very sad. A lot of local businesses sell products in that store. Bass China will bring in their shitty gear and will not only kill the store but the town as well. Didn’t one of the last decent delta towns learn anything from every other dying delta community?
Simmons or Rogers will get my business going forward.

For the ducks
Smaller brands cant compete with the manufacturing costs..bass probelas for the win
At least I'm housebroken.
Give me two products, both the result of capitalism because that’s how we roll here and I’ll choose quality. It’s not that hard to figure out. Morris has a history of destroying quality, but you are free to buy anything you want.

“… duckhunting stands alone as an outdoor discipline. It has a tang and spirit shared by no other sport—a philosophy compounded of sleet, the winnow of unseen wings, and the reeks of marsh mud and wet wool. No other sport has so many theories, legends, casehardened disciples and treasured memories.”
--John Madson, The Mallard, 1960
"Never trust a duck hunter who cares more about his success than his dog's."
I got no problem with them merging, but if it’s anything like the Cabela’s merger I’ll be pretty much done as a customer.
