They tried coyotes, now they’re releasing wolves.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

If I had to guess, it's to pay trappers and/or to pay to host meetings to address it.

I've always wondered why feral animals fell under DNR's wheelhouse. Shouldnt it be more of a Dept of Ag, especially since they impact farmers the most...?

The headquarters can relocate entirely for 1.7 mil, but it takes over $20mil for an addition to a current running establishment... seems legit...

The state is divided up into water districts. Each one is studied to determine availability of the waterways to sustain current and future water needs.

3.5 repairs the current ponds at the Waddell Center. The are 50% operational. It will allow the ability to add flounder to the current list of saltwater fish being restocked.

    Is it a cure, no.

The Constitution of the State of South Carolina requires two "rainy day" funds:

General Reserve Fund (S.C. Constitution, Article III, Section 36(A))
Capital Reserve Fund (S.C. Constitution, Article III, Section 36(B)).
The General Reserve Fund (GRF) is required to be 5 percent of the General Fund revenues of the most recently completed fiscal year. The GRF may be used to cover a year-end shortfall in General Fund revenue collections. The GRF is fully funded for fiscal year 2019–2020 at $406,213,261.

The Capital Reserve Fund (CRF) is a recurring appropriation that must equal 2 percent of the most recently completed fiscal year’s General Fund revenue. If the GRF is used to cover a year-end General Fund revenue shortfall, then the CRF must be used to replenish the GRF. If no year-end deficit occurs, then CRF may be appropriated by the General Assembly for capital improvements or other nonrecurring (one-time) items in the succeeding fiscal year. For fiscal year 2019–2020, $162,485,305 is set aside for the Capital Reserve Fund.

That is wasted money based off of their trapping efforts that I have witnessed over the years, ecpecially at the monument. They should open up more areas to pig hunting that remain closed.
There are several wma lands that have a two week dog season each year. The second week each year is either the second or third week of may every year which is usually way to warm to be effective.
FYI I hunt public land very little, maybe 1-2 times a year.
