I've gotta admit, I was looking forward to social distancing on a boat beach with my family. We can and have stayed away from others and have been on the boat a good bit since this started...the way this is written is BS. I reckon we'll just have to fish more!

The part that says "boat landings providing public access to the public waters of this state, to include any adjacent or associated public parking lots or other public facilities, shall be closed to public access for recreational purposes . . ." seems like it means pay ramps too. But then it goes on to say "Anchoring to fish is allowed . . "

So fishing is ok as long as you are in a boat and have private access to the waters? But pay ramps are to be closed along with teh public ramps?

This law does essentially nothing but make it just a tad bit harder to get on the water. Pay to launch places are going to have a month that goes down in history for them.
