Braves losing Ron Washington sucks. Maybe Eric Young as well.

yeah. saw that. Certainly a mainstay at 3rd base.

kinda surprised he wanted to manage again at age 71. He will be missed in atlanta.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.

Thank goodness he didn't go to Houston to replace Dusty Baker. I wonder if Terry Pendleton wants the job at first or third??

He's going to be hard to replace. Chipper Jones maybe? He's been a hitting coach for them several times I think.

    Troof.

Chipper won't want to stand in the sun anyway. My pick would be Mr. October 1995 - the Lemmer. He's gritty.

Chipper is way too cool for the windmill. He'd just stand there and point toward home.

Shouldn’t have to windmill. Baserunner’s job is to score, third base coach’s job is keep the baserunner from getting out.

I ain't baseballed as much as most folks but what little I remember from high school was "when you round 2nd, pick up the 3B coach and unless he is visibly and audibly telling you to stop, GO!"

Somebody should remind Christian Walker of that.

Maybe the 2023 Braves thread should die as quickly as their playoff run
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands

No, someone needs to reiterate what I wrote to the third base coach.

So Mr “needs to go to AAA” was the unanimous NL MVP.

    That is all. Carry on.

Soroka, Lopez, Shewmake, and Shuster are all gone. Don't understand the trade for the specific closer, my only hope is its clearing money for a big trade.

He also hit .143 in October. I really don't care what a guy does in the regular season. October is what counts.

We need some people who want to play in October. Max Fried may not get an extension.

    No.

He did play well against the Braves in October for sure. Way better than Mr .143 did against the Phils.
