    Default Breakfast for dinner

    Grilled deer sausage
    Grilled SC peaches
And scrambled eggs that were a little rushed.

    Hey 2th.

You are right, sometimes it just works out that way though.

and that's a paring knife. its used for prep work, not eating. while i appreciate your attempt at placing the knife in the correct position on your plate, it still doesnt belong there.

    Carry on.

I think I have a square plate phobia, and in this case theres a lot of real estate left for grits.

Damn straight. Grits are for any meal.

My wimmins love breakfast for supper. Lil T gets all riled up when she sees the waffle iron on the counter at 5PM.. For her, its memories of her childhood. After her Mom died, I would let her pick the menu for a couple meals a week. She always wanted bacon, sausage patties and waffles. We try to keep the tradition going once in a great while. She is at UGA now and the waffles there at the Student dining halls don't inspire her much.

It is also a Cutco knife. Cutco are for people who think spending a lot of money on something equates to quality. It does not when it comes to Cutco junk. These people are likely the same crowd that like going on cruises and think it is a good vacation.

I dont think that can be called breakfast. First off there isnt any grits. Secondly the eggs need to be runny. Thirdly those peaches need to be preserved and on toast or bicuits. just sayin.

As long as the food and fellowship is good I don’t care whether I use a $100 knife or a pocketknife or if the plates are paper or China.

I made breakfast for dinner Wednesday night. Fried eggs over medium, grits and country ham. I pan fried the ham in a little water to get some of the salt off as I usually do and added coffee to try my first attempt at ‘red eye gravy’. The gravy wasn’t that good.
If anyone could post up how much water to coffee you should add to the ham drippings it’d be appreciated.

Breakfast for supper was definitely one of my favorite meals growing up. Breakfast in general is probably my favorite meal, although i don't always eat breakfast every morning.

Some of you people are really nit-picky, to the point of almost being annoying. Almost.

The knife was a gift from someone at some point. It sits in the drawer with other brands of knives and cuts stuff when I use it. Last night, I used it to cut that peach and set it on the plate. My stomach nor the peach seem to care how much the knife cost or its original design intention. With all the things going on in our household right now, I'm just happy that food made it to the plate and I got to eat it.

And, yes, grits would have been an awesome addition but some of us are watching our figures.
