Was down there watching the weigh in. The tiger shark was caught in 90ft.

We were at the Betsy Ross Cobia fishing a couple years back and had a tiger that big cruise by the boat.

I can't imagine catching a shark that large. We had 3 fellows reeling until they couldn't reel anymore and then switching off anglers and just under 45 minutes to boat some sort of shark that was probably 8 ft long. My arms hurt from that one. It was not fun and became work.

It's a good time down there for sure watching all the big shots come in. My kids live it.my youngest would always go around and get all the pregnant ones babies and came around the parking lot.

We catch those things and sand tigers all the time. I caught a big AJ a few years back, drug it up so fast the swim bladder expanded, I told a buddy to hold it while I got the venting tool. It flopped and he let it go. As it drifted off you could see two fins cut the water, the next second the water boiled with blood and that 60# AJ was gone. My kid thought that was cool. Found one of my most productive bottom spots following one around while a buddy’s son got his arms stretched. That one was a 2hr fight, covered 3 miles and was probably 7-800#.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    Sand tiger most likely.

My trigger finger's main knuckle has a funky knot in it from one hitting my line on the Edisto offshore years back.. There used to be a pic on here years ago, I'm sure it's locked in photobucket.. but it broke my rod across my fingers.. I cursed a lot.

We got the shark to the boat, took some pictures, and released it. It felt like we had a car on the line. Mostly dead weight.
