Default Fishing rod holders in the garage

Need some ideas to hold my fishing rods neatly in the garage instead of just having them bundled up in the corner

10 ft of rope. 8 ft of pvc. Run rope through pvc. Fix each end to the ceiling at 8ft distance. Put 2 5 ft apart.

Feel free to adjust rope length or pipe length to your garage.

I fired up the google machine to try and get you an example.

I found this one which is much nicer than I had in mind. Probably depends on the height of your joist/ceiling. Or you could probably design something similar on the wall if you know anyone who is good at construction.

I use something called “The Rod Steward” they are just blocks of dense foam with holes cut in them. That’s 50+ rods in the picture, and they take up very little space.

I have this one now, it takes up a good bit of space on the floor but I don’t have room on the wall and have 7ft ceilings

I have a 1x with small hanging hooks(think brass picture hooks) screwed in every 4" or so. 1x is mounted on the wall about 4' off the ground. I hang the each rod on an eye.

The spacing could be tighter to fit more rods closer together.

Could also hang the rack higher to the the rods further off the ground depending on space available.
