Deer have moved in and massacred the green beans. In 20 years we have never had a deer problem here. Squash and zucchini are doing well. Corn will get some nitrogen this week and crowders and okra are coming along. Picked the first cherry tomatoes and banana peppers yesterday.
This fall will likely be the first year I shoot a deer in my backyard.
Squash and zucchini coming in, maters showing, beans blooming and corn still growing. We late but looking better than I expected.

Pert Near...
Planted some corn in one of my deer food plots behind the new house. Had no clue all the kale, turnips, etc would come back up so well after being bush hogged, turn plowed and roto tilled. Took big brother down to pick some for supper tonight

Have any of yall ever had any luck with pumpkins? My son and I started a few 200 lb pumpkins from seeds a few weeks ago. He's anxious to see how they turn out.
125’ row is around 18” high. We still late here but it’s coming along. I’m a sucker for lost causes though.

I planted several a few years back. Got some about 18-20”. I was thinking they are a second planting type affair, at least that’s what I did and before august 1st.

I've got some.. nothing hard about them, squash
I have a couple few heirlooms that I'm doing behind my garden. We used to have a large patch at the farm and a watermelon patch, we kinda ended that stretch last year. We basically just have some silver queen near some feed corn now, and I've got a small garden at the house.
Nice pics LB. Hope your help is more excited about hoeing than mine is.

My boy likes to run the Tiller in the garden. They both help with picking and my little girl eats the maters and corn in the garden lol....
