Don’t live bait fish on the bottom and you won’t catch trash fish. Problem solved.

I've caught plenty with cut bait and dead shrimp. I saw a fella the other week catch one and his wife went to grab the tail with her hand. I was like, "mam, I don't think i would do that." They were yankees.

How about bottom fishing inshore in general then, I’ve never caught one on a slow retrieve on a bottom rig or a popping cork if you have to use natural bait. Throwing artificial culls out nearly all the trash.
