Zidua vs Pigweed
Who has used it?
It’s pretty good
cut\'em
Tell us more about it. Is it pre-emergent or post and can it be applied for sunflowers and/or corn?
My dove club has a BAD pigweed problem.
Pigweed comes straight from the pit of hell.
What sunflower pre emergent kills sicklepod
?
Prowl and Spartan don't touch it.
Dual is fair on sicklepod but nothing is good
U serious Clark?
High strung start with spartan and prowl behind the planter the come back with a layer of zidua or zidua and dual at about the 6th true leaf stage. Remember that these products are only residuals and will not kill any existing weeds. Make sure to spray any weeds when they’re small, less than 3” tall, and use a good surfactant with the product that you use. Cadre, beyond, etc are about the only products for the emerged weeds.
U serious Clark?
here we go again....
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
U serious Clark?
Giving Broadax a go this year for pre-emergent. Supposed to keep the pigweed at bay in clearfields. We shall see.
You mixing cadre and dual post emergent??
Mixed Cadre and Clethodim last season. I got a bermuda grass problem.
Can you spray dual over the top?
Just sprayed gramoxone and brawl
Yup, he's crazy...
like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.
Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.

Eptam. It is not used much around here so you will probably have to order it. I have used it in sunflowers with great results on sicklepod. I had a bad problem. Apply preplant and incorporate like you would treflan. Carolina Eastern can get it or I have also ordered online. Not regulated (I don’t think)
Much obliged
