    I'm a shorthair guy and his head doesn't strike me as shorthair. They can DNA test him if they really care.

    Well. I'll throw this out there. I have a dog that looks similar which came off a littler with a few that looks even more like this dog. Momma was a full blooded Beagle and daddy was a brindle pit bull.

    That's what I thought as well, but I also thought his body and his coloration looked similar to a gsp. Thank y'all for the input.

    Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
