    Default Custom grunt call?

Anybody have one? I used an old Haydels for years and it sounded as much like a real deer as anything I'd ever heard. Lost it somewhere last year and the new ones ain't worth a crap. Someone told me to try an extinguisher and it ain't that great either. Where can I buy one or who can make me one that has that real nasal-ly sound like a real deer does?

I’ve been experimenting with a reed that has a metal button on it. It’s in prototype mode. The current one I made has an adjustable reed.

My next move is a metal reed. I got back from Canada late so not much time for experimenting

I’ve got a nice one with an elk horn ring in the middle, but I’mthinkinh about changing the guts if Joey’s new one works out.

I don’t recall offhand who I got it from.

Pretty sure his name was Gary Coleman. Search SC Coonhunters on FB and you should find him. If your search turns up a chubby black midget then you’ll need to refine your search.

I don’t think you’re supposed to call people chubby anymore.

Do they have to have the long ass tube thingy at the end? I want one shorter, like duck call length.

Older fella, Daryl Stubbs who used to work at haddrells point, now works at PSA makes custom calls of all sorts in his free time. Find him on the face page by searching his name, or Stubbs Game Calls.
