To explain the reason for my distaste for strutting decoys, I will tell it like I see it.
While every gobbler won't go for the strutter, when one does, it is all but guaranteed that the strutter won't mess up his job. But a human
with a turkey call might very well mess up his job. In fact, he will mess it up more often than not.
That is also the main reason that I think it's so stupid when this subject comes up and folks say "we should outlaw calls too then".
